By printing all possible screenplays on Drew’s Script-o-rama and reading them like crazy, not knowing yet I would write a few months later my first feature on paper and later on Final Draft.
Of course it wasn’t that good. I was around 13 at the time and in love with movies such as Starship Troopers, Aliens,… so it quickly became a mashup of sci-fi teen action flicks.
But after that feature script, the next step was of course to take it to the next level and study screenwriting seriously. And thus began the journey of writing short films. And with some success and some of those scripts became finalists, semi-finalists in competitions and even got produced.
It went from horror to drama, passing by comedy. The aim was just to create. To create dreams.
Hence the motto of the company: “Dream Journey Studios, creating dreams” as our aim is to transport the audience into worlds they never saw and rediscovering emotions they might have forgotten.
